Born ca 1605 in Nottingham, England. Ananais died in East Hampton, Suffolk County, NY, on 1 Oct 1657; he was 52. Buried in 1657 in Old South End Burial Ground.
In Salem, MA by June 1638. Removed to Southold, L. I., NY in 1650 where 1652 recorrds show him as a landowner; removed toEast Hampton, L.I., NY in 1653.,
In Eaqst Hampton was elected fence viewer in 1653, 1655 and 1657. Was an assistant selectman in 1654 and a chimney viewer in 1656 along with Lion Gardiner.

Andries and his wife Geertje Hopper (Hoppen/Hoppe) came to the New Netherlands about 1651. In 1653 he was enrolled as a ‘burgher’ in New Amsterdam. He agreed to a land purchase in Harlem but died before the deed was completed. The name is likely from the plural of “Hop,” the Dutch word for the hop vine.

Born ca 1637 in Gouda, Netherlands. Jochem Wouterszen died aft 1708; he was 71. Buried in Sleepy Hollow Burial Ground.
Sailed from Utrecht, Holland on the ship "The Beaver" April 25th, 1659.
(Some sources suggest he came on the ship "Faith" from Amsterdam, arriving March 1660.)
In 1666 granted a lot at Salt Meadows at Canarisia, part of the Flatlands across Jamaica Bay from Rockaway, NY. Member (with his wife) of the Dutch Church of New Amsterdam.
Lived near Midwout (Flatbush) Long Island until 1683, sold a house and lot in Flatbush to Jan Auke van Nuys and then moved to Philipse Manor in Tarrytown. He and his wife are the sixth and seventh charter members of the Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow when it was founded in 1697. He served as Elder in Philipsburgh Church 1699-1701.
On 4 Dec 1660 when Jochem Wouterszen was 23, he married

Removed to Ipswich in 1648.
At this time the cloth industry in his home area of Wiltshire, ENG was doing very poorly.
The name Ayr is alleged to refer to a river, town and district in Scotland.

Man of considerable prominence in Newbury. Removed with sons John, Thomas and sons-in-law Obadiah Ayres and Richard Worth to become original proprietors of Woodbridge, NJ
Arrived at age 28 in New England and migrated to Woodbridge in 1670. Was a member of the first New Jersey State Legislature.
Was first President of Woodbridge in 1671.
