3564. Thomas BOWNE, son of 7128. Anthony BOWNE. Born on 25 May 1595 in Matlock, Derbyshire, ENG. Christened on 15 Jul 1595 in Matlock, Derbyshire, ENG. Thomas died in Flushing, LI, NY, on 18 Sep 1677; he was 82.
“John Bowne and his father Thomas Bowne were among the earliest and most venerable inhabitants of Flushing.” (From Thompson’s History of Long Island.)
Came to Boston from England in late 1648 or early 1649 and removed to Flushing in 1651.
Came to Boston about 1649 with son John aged 22 and daughter Dorothy aged 18.
Thomas married Mary BOWNE*.

3566. Lieutenant Robert FEAKE, son of 7132. James FEAKE & 7133. Judith THOMAS. Born on 20 Sep 1602 in London, Middlesex, ENG. Robert died in Greenwich, Fairfield County, CT, on 1 Feb 1660; he was 57.
Came to Massachusetts Bay in 1630 with the Winthrop fleet. Lived in Watertwon, MA, Newton, RI and Greenwich, CT. Was admitted Freeman 18 May 1631; selectman 1637, 1639, 1640; representative (first court) 1634, 1635, 1636; was a llietenant and served under Captain Daniel Patrick in 1632. One of the purchasers of Greenwich, CT while residing in Watertown. On May 25 1636 he was appointed to the group to keep the court for the towns that afterward became the county of MIddlesex, NJ.
Died at the house of Samuel Thacher.
On 2 Dec 1631 when Robert was 29, he married Elizabeth FONES in Watertown, Middlesex County, MA.
